Despite being announced as the biggest year yet for CoD eSports, 2016 has seen a very small amount of LAN events. In fact, UMG South Carolina will only be the second event non-related to the Call Of Duty World League Pro Division hosted by ESL.

The event will take place from February 12th to 14th in Myrtle Beach, SC. It will be played with a single elimination bracket for the 12 NA Pro Division teams and 4 additional teams from an open bracket related to the CoD World League Challenger Division. The teams will play their opponent based on a seed defined by their current CWL placing.

With nV being the new leader of the CWL NA Pro Division with an 8-2 match record and 27-10 map record, the boys in blue have high hopes going into this event, though the bracket of the event has yet to be released by UMG. The 16 teams in the Champion Bracket will battle through the single elimination process for a total prizepool of $70000. The nV.CoD team, looking better than ever this year, will be looking to create the upset and win the tournament against a tough competition including teams like OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan.
